From the very beginning, the core business of avintos has been valve and actuator technology. By this we mainly mean valves for the shut-off and control of liquids, gases and solids in pipelines. This comprises a large product range of industrial valves, including ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, check valves, safety valves, coaxial valves as well as actuators and accessories.

Valves
Innovation Made in Switzerland
One of our core products is the Peter Meyer ball valve, a Swiss manufacturer who introduced the first ball valve in 1960 with great success as an innovation in the chemical industry. Since then, this ball valve has been and continues to be further developed and today meets the highest demands of process engineering. Since 2000, avintos AG has been the partner for worldwide distribution.
Peter Meyer ball valves are available in countless variants: they are flange-mounted on one or both sides or welded into the pipe; they are made of stainless steel, titanium or other high-quality materials; they differ in size and pipe diameter; they can be operated manually or by actuators and have numerous special features.
All these variants can be configured with our product configurator, which allows you to easily and conveniently obtain 3D drawings digitally and use them for plant engineering.
Hoses
Hose Assemblies
As part of our further development, we expanded our expertise to include hose technology in 2012. Our hose range includes technically high-quality hoses for highly corrosive liquids, gases and vapours. This mainly includes convoluted PTFE hoses with polypropylene or stainless steel braiding, elastomer hoses and silicone hoses.
The hoselines are assembled in-house according to the customer's specifications. This means that the PTFE connections are manually flared and crimped. Working with Teflon is a skill that we have acquired and requires a great deal of experience and knowledge. We distinguish ourselves not only through the top quality of our hose manufacturers, but also thanks to the completely assembled hoseline, which we manufacture and test according to your quality requirements.
Our hose assemblies are designed for the most demanding applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetics and food industries and are manufactured according to strict quality and safety standards.

Avintos offers a wide range of sampling valves and systems for sampling liquids, gases and powders.
Samples have long been taken, but sampling as an independent subject is still young. Strong collaboration helps get on track. There is nothing new in the fact that representative sampling is challenged in many liquid industries. The claim is that there is not a lack of knowledge about sampling processes, but that actual focus on sampling and proper equipment is missing. This means that you often unknowingly make a mistake.
If the sample is contaminated, it doesn't show the correct picture and then you end up making decisions on an incorrect premise.
